Chat after 21 days

 The first 6 rounds of negotiations between the farmers and the government were inconclusive.  The last meeting was on 8 December.  After that the round of negotiations had stopped and the farmers intensified the protest.  In such a situation, the government tried to persuade the farmers for a meeting by writing letters 3 times.  After all, the farmers agreed to the meeting, but said that the discussion would be on their agenda.

 After five hours of talks, two issues related to the electricity bill and the stubble were agreed.  The government agreed to address the farmers' concerns.  After this, the peasant leaders also showed softness.  He postponed the tractor rally to be held on 31 December.  Differences on agricultural law and MSP still persist.

 Tomar said, "The farmers' union continued to talk of withdrawing three agricultural laws.  We tried to tell them from our arguments where is the difficulty of the farmer?  Where there is difficulty, the government is open to thinking with an open mind.  Regarding MSP also, the government has been saying beforehand that this will continue.  Farmers feel that MSP should get legal status.  Discussion on both the issues continues.  We will regroup at 2 pm on January 4 and will continue the discussion on these topics

Update

 People in Punjab are hurting Reliance Jio's towers in support of farmers.  Therefore, the company has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab and the DGP, seeking intervention.

 Rakesh Tikait said that it is necessary to strengthen the opposition in the country, so that the government remains afraid.  However, due to this, farmers had to take to the streets.  Opposition against agricultural laws should demonstrate on the streets.
